The story begins when the Super Megaforce Rangers detect a strange signal coming from space. The signal contains information about a super-metal called RoboSteel, a metal capable of giving robots immense power. While the team is trying to pinpoint the source of the signal, a massive spacecraft crashes near the city. From within the wreckage emerges a mysterious robot called RoboSteel, but it has no memory of who created it or why it was sent to Earth.
