Over a year after the defeat of Rita Repulsa and her army of monsters, The Power Rangers have been praised by the people of Angel Grove, and have been given the key to the city, but, this new fame is short lived, when robotic aliens start to invade the city, and replace half of it's citizens, led by the infamous alien leader, King Mondo who is planning on searching for the Zeo Crystal so he can gain ultimate power, so, Zordon decides to give the Rangers new suits, new weapons, new Zords, and a mysterious new ranger, which might be of importance, as the Rangers have to save the planet yet again from the Machine Empire, with the help of some new allies.
