Amy Jo Johnson (born October 6, 1970) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and musician. She is best known for her roles as Kimberly Ann Hart, the first Pink Ranger of the Power Rangers franchise in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Further known roles include Julie Emrick on the WB's college drama Felicity and Julianna “Jules” Callaghan in the Canadian CTV television series Flashpoint. She got nominated for the 2009 Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for Flashpoint. She also played Stacy Reynolds on the Lifetime police drama The Division, and in 2005 she joined the cast of the TV drama Wildfire as famous jockey Tina Sharp.

Located off the coast of California, Ranger Island is known as Zordon's dream. Founded by Jason, Zack, and Alpha 5 the island is home to the school that trains the most promising young students in the galaxy how to become power rangers. The dream is seemingly shattered when the school is unexpectedly invaded and attacked, leaving the school in ruins and its faculty and student population decimated. Credit for the attack is claimed by a new evil force, whose influence is quickly spreading throughout the galaxy, known as The Second Alliance. The Second Alliance seeks to rebuild Dark Specter's galactic Alliance of Evil in the wake of Zordon's energy wave and make Earth its headquarters/base of operations. Jason, Zack, and Alpha 5 quickly travel to another part of the island where a newly built replica of the command center has been built. Once there, they recruit one of the surviving top students at the school as well as four "citizens with attitude" from the nearby city of Angel Grove to become the newest team of power rangers. Now that Zordon's dead, can this new team come together to defeat this evil force that threatens to bring the galaxy to its knees?
