Seven years after Tommy Oliver left the Turbo Rangers, he comes to Reefside, California as a high school paleontology professor where he leads three detention students: popular soccer player Conner McKnight, computer geek Ethan James, and aspiring musician Kira Ford into becoming the next generation of Rangers, the Power Rangers Dino Thunder.
