Alison Brie Schermerhorn (born December 29, 1982) is an American actress, writer, and producer. She received recognition for her starring roles as Trudy Campbell in the drama series Mad Men (2007–2015), Annie Edison in the comedy series Community (2009–2015), Diane Nguyen in the animated comedy series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020), and as Ruth Wilder in the comedy-drama series GLOW (2017–2019), for which she received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Musical or Comedy. Power Girl fights crime on Earth-1's sister Earth, Earth-2. It is decades behind Earth-1, and is akin to the Earth-1 1970s. She somehow and very mysteriously gets transported to Earth-1 by strange and unknown means. She meets this Earth's version of Superman, and she realizes she's indefinitely stuck there. Now, she must get used to this Earth, dealing with the culture shock and fallout of not being able to see her friends and family ever again. What she doesn't realize is a threat followed her here from Earth-1 and she has to do what she does best. Kick some major ass and look good doing it.
