Tyranitar is the Rock-type partner Pokemon of the Ferrum Champion, and is unlocked as a partner via completion of the game's side stories. It is the twelfth alternate partner Pokemon you unlock, and is obtained after completing Iggy's side quest where he attempts to sooth the Pokemon's grief from losing its baby. Tyranitar is a defensive Pokemon that can tank heavy blows with ease, before burying the opponent in a rocky tomb.
