"Cyndaquil and Aipom run up to Hiro, a boy who has lost his memory. It seems that the two are his own Pokémon, but Hiro doesn't remember them and is confused... Worried about the lonely-looking Pokemon, Hiro enters his room clutching his handmade badge, and sees a Murkrow outside the window. Not being able to remember anything, Hiro hastily chases it away and looks around the room, where he sees a pile of photos of himself with the Murkrow.
"I want to remember you guys as soon as possible..."
That night, feeling a sudden sense of foreboding, Hiro and his friends go into the forest, where they find a wounded Murkrow and its secret base.
