One of the professors at Blueberry Academy and the one charged with overseeing the Kitakami field trip. Briar is a distant descendant of Heath, the writer of the Scarlet and Violet books that Arven's parents adored and based their research on, and she takes great pride in her heritage and the fact that she owns the books' original copies. She also has a great deal of interest in Area Zero, as she aims to venture down there in order to find proof that her ancestor's findings were more than just fanciful tales. At least mid-20s.
