One of the Chromatic Visions who saved the Gelid Alps long ago. Reshiram and Zekrom are the Alps' guardians, and long ago teamed up with a traveler and a native resident of the Alps to stop Kyurem from plunging the land in a deadly winter. Fearing its unsealment, the two Pokemon took on their partners' soul after their passing and sealed themselves away, and are reawakened in the present day to stop Kyurem once more. Because it carries its human partner's soul within it, Reshiram also has the ability to communicate with humans.
