Lurantis is one of the Jungle Villas' residents, who happens to have found herself surprisingly benefited by the overgrowth of jungle that's occurred since Tapu Lele began grieving Tapu Koko's death—the thick overgrowth keeps out intruders, there's more than enough food to go around, and plenty of forest for her to live in! Thus, she refuses to let the heroes meet with Tapu Lele and inform it of Tapu Koko's true status, no matter what.
