Calyrex is a minor deity who acts as the guardian of the Everglisten Forest where Kubfu and all his neighbors live. Long ago, legends state that their ancestors were welcomed to the continents by Calyrex and his fellow deities after they fled from a great calamity, but as time passed many of their descendants forgot about this kindness and laid waste to the land from overusing its gifts and waging war with each other. While the other gods have forgotten their love for those they rule and wish to destroy them all, Calyrex still has hope that this war can end—which is why he called upon Poipole with help from a higher power, and gave her and Kubfu the mission to end the war.
