Poipole, like the player, was a human from another world who was sent to the Pokemon World to save it from catastrophe many years ago alongside her Pokemon partner, and the stories of her adventure are what inspire the partner and Cosmog to try the same thing. Though she chose to stay in the Pokemon world, nobody knows what really became of her afterwards...
