Miraidon is Cyclizar's descendant from the further future. When the Shattering phenomena occurred, their time was disrupted and wiped from existence, with only Miraidon themself escaping. They first appear when the save Cyclizar from being killed by Pokemon that had gone rabid from the Shattering's ripple effects, and join the Apocalypse Survivors' Band in order to fix the world and save their future.
