Koraidon is the very distant ancestor of Cyclizar and Miraidon, who lived during the earliest ages of the Pokemon World's time. Due to Cyclizar's time machine malfunctioning, the party is sent back to Koraidon's time, and after them getting off on the wrong foot and fighting, Koraidon joins their party and helps them repair their time machine so they can return to their proper time.
