The god of time and one of Arceus's offspring. Dialga governs the flow of time with immense prowess, but the Shattering has left it and its siblings incredibly weak. In the neutral and bad routes, the player arrives too late and finds that the Shattering's effects have killed them all—but in the true ending, they arrive just in time and go on a quest to obtain their respective orbs, which with Arceus's blessing allow them to unlock their full power via their Origin forms and save the world. After this, the player can go to Dialga's domain and fight it for a chance at recruiting it into their party.
