The Healer is a young man in medical school who wanted to become a doctor in order to save the lives of others, and has been a dutiful student since then. His strong will and kindness led him to the Pokemon world, where he arrived in a village struck by plague and used his medicinal knowledge to not only cure the village's inhabitants, but become a traveling doctor who provides medical care across the Pokemon world as he journeyed to face the Bittercold.
