One of the bosses on the Scholar's route. Ferrothorn is part of a group of scientists who have been in a bitter fight with the Pokemon of Sigilyph's town to claim the ruins for research's sake, all so they can take away the hidden treasures of the ruins. Forest horn leads the group, and firmly believes that the ruins' treasures should belong to him as he feels that he would be a better owner than the Pokemon who cared for them for generations, and to stroke his own ego by claiming such ancient artifacts for himself.
