One of the Unifier's teammates on his route. Darmanitan is an ornery old man who lives in a village filled with constant strife and conflict, and thus keeps to himself as he believes caring about other Pokemon isn't worth the fuss. But when the Unifier comes into his life, and he takes him on as a charge after learning of his situation, Darmanitan comes to realize that friendship and connection is worth it after all and joins the Unifier's cause to protect his new son and the bonds he's made.
