A former explorer, now vagabond. During the ultra beast invasion his family was murdered when they attacked the village, this event led him to travel around the world alone. He meets Piplup and Shinx at the grave of his wife and son, thinking they were going to steal the flowers and scares them off, Piplup returns with some more flowers and explains that they were trying to look for Shinx's parents' graves. Seeing that they didn't mean any harm, Lucario apologizes and decides to train the other club members so they can be great explorers.
