One of the Pokemon who works under Eternatus. Darkrai was once a relatively benevolent Pokemon, but after an encounter it had with Dark Matter, something changed in it and it became obsessed with clothing the world in eternal ruin so that it could rule. Even though Dark Matter was defeated, its grip on Darkrai never receded, which is what led Darkrai to Eternatus's door.
