When Zorua was abducted by Malamar, ha was subjected to inhumane experiments, to which they forced him to evolve into a Zoroark. After that, in the span of a few months, he became a ruthless assassin working for Malamar, but when he got defeated by Kayden, he swore to hunt both him and Eevee down. After being defeated after the third encounter, Kayden saved him by evolving back to Zorua and took him in.
