Mewtwo is an acient Pokémon at the service of Arceus, the god of the Pokémon world. When the god notices that a human arrived, he sent Mewtwo to investigate and keep an eye on them, which turned out to be Kayden. He later visits the Sword Kingdom to notify the Queen, Zacian. He is very stoic and of few words, it's said to be the most powerful Pokémon of all after Arceus, so when some of Malamar's minions try to kill him, they were wiped away in the span of a few seconds.
