Lucario is a former explorer, now vagabond. During the ultra beast invasion his family was murdered when they attacked the village, this event led him to travel around the world alone. He meets Kayden at the grave of his wife and son, thinking he was going to steal the flowers for them, but seeing the boy has good intentions and surprisingly realizing he's actually human, decided to train the boy until he can properly harness his moves.
