Absol is Eevee’s bodyguard. He served the noble family ever since he was a kid and always watched the siblings grow up, but when the mansion was attacked, he and Eevee escaped Malamar, but the two ended up being separated. One night, he arrives at Rockwell Village and thinking Kayden and Pikachu are keeping the Princess captive, Absol attacks them trying to make them tell him where she is, she was stopped by Eevee, telling him that they saved her, and thus revealing her background. This forces the kids to leave the village with the princess and Absol p, to avoid something happen might happen to anyone. Absol is polite and well mannered, but he will come to violent measures if necessary.
