Jason Schwartzman (born June 26, 1980) is an American actor and musician. Schwartzman made his film debut in Wes Anderson's 1998 film Rushmore and has since appeared in six other Anderson films: The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), The French Dispatch (2021), and Asteroid City (2023). He also has co-writing credit for The Darjeeling Limited. He is known for his roles as Gideon Graves in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010). Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (2023), and the Spot, whom he voices in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) and the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (2027). Schwartzman's other films include Spun (2003), I Heart Huckabees (2004), Marie Antoinette (2006), Funny People (2009), Saving Mr. Banks (2013), Big Eyes (2014), Klaus (2019), The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023), and Queer (2024). He starred in the television series Bored to Death (2009–2011). He appeared in the fourth season of the FX anthology series Fargo (2020). He was an executive producer on the Amazon Prime show Mozart in the Jungle (2014–18), a series in which he also acted. Schwartzman has released three albums through his solo musical project, Coconut Records. He was also the drummer in the rock band Phantom Planet. He is a member of the Coppola family. When Simon Stagg plans to open a portal to the Dark Multiverse, Mister Terrific arrives too late as Stagg is using a person named Rex Mason to power the portal for high amounts of Nth Metal. Mister Terrific then brings Plastic Man to assist him. Terrific convinces Stagg to close the portal, but not before the trio are flung into outer space and are soon met up by Phantom Lady. Meanwhile, Rex Mason has suffered some serious changes to his body following being used to power the portal. But that’s the least of their problems as an alien invader named Algon arrives on to the scene.
