David Eugene Joyner is an American actor. He is best known for physically portraying Barney from 1991 to 2001 on the children's television series Barney & Friends and its predecessor Barney and the Backyard Gang. Later on, he played Hip Hop Harry.
The series tells a story that takes place in 1993, the story of Peppino Spaghetti, an obese and anxious Italian pizza chef, who must climb a tower to prevent the destruction of his pizzeria.
