Cara (Millie Bobby Brown) is a teenage girl who has suffered immense loss in her young life. Her parents and younger sister were killed in a car accident, leaving her to fend for herself. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she is recruited by a secret government agency to become a spy. Under the mentorship of Agent Jackson (Rhea Seehorn), Cara learns the skills she needs to become a top-level spy, but she is haunted by the memories of her family and struggles to connect with her new colleagues. She forms an unlikely friendship with Dex (Lucas Jade Zumann), a tech genius who is socially awkward but fiercely loyal, and begins to open up to him about her past. As Cara begins to excel in her new role, she discovers that the agency has its own dark secrets, including the involvement of her father (Mark Strong), who is still alive and working for the organization. Cara must navigate a dangerous web of deception and betrayal as she tries to uncover the truth and find a way to reconcile with her father. Phoenix Protocol presents a darker and more realistic portrayal of the world of espionage. The violence is more graphic and brutal, and the stakes are higher as Cara and her team goes up against ruthless enemies who will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
