Athena is the goddess of wisdom and Annabeth’s mother. Her animal is the owl. She doesn’t trust Percy, based on the fact he’s the son of her uncle; Poseidon. She also doesn’t approve Percy’s relationship with Annabeth. Athena even turned Medusa into the scary monster we know her as today, after she saw Poseidon sexually assault her in Athena’s temple. And if that wasn’’t enough; after Arachni lost the weaving contest; Athena also turned her into the monster we know her as today.
