A television reimagining of Stardew Valley inspired by Desperate Housewives and aimed exclusively at an adult audience—centers on three female friends: Jodi, a single mother raising two sons (Sam and Vincent) who has her eye on the new farmer; Caroline, the wife of local merchant Pierre—with whom she is raising their daughter, Abigail, though Pierre is not Abby’s biological father (her real father is actually the mysterious Wizard, who lives as a recluse outside of town); and Robin, a former wild child who is now the model wife of local scientist Demetrius, with whom she has two children: Sebastian, a brooding goth teenager, and Maru, who inherited her father’s love of science and works part-time at the town hospital.
