Fan Casting Simon Belmont in Paul W.S. Anderson's Castlevania

A surprisingly young but hardened Romanian knight. Simon leads what remains of his clan against Turkish raiders, only to seek shelter in Dracul'a's mysterious castle. He is a warrior forged in battle, capable of both tender love (for Aurica) and devastating grief (killing his own vampire brother). Armed with a longsword and chain whip, Simon fights to protect those under his command and ultimately sacrifices himself to stop Dracul'a, dying in Aurica's arms.
