Bar Paly is an Israeli-American actress and model best known for her recurring role as Anna Kolcheck on the long-running crime drama NCIS: Los Angeles (2015–2023). Born Varvara Alexandrovna Paley in Nizhny Tagil, Russia, she immigrated to Israel at age seven and was raised in Tel Aviv, where she later attended the Aleph High School of Arts. After beginning her career in Israeli productions and as a model, she moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties to pursue Hollywood stardom. Paly gained significant recognition for her role as Sorina Luminita in Michael Bay's Pain & Gain (2013) and has appeared in films such as The Ruins (2008), Non-Stop (2014), and Million Dollar Arm (2014), as well as television series like How I Met Your Mother and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. A naturalized U.S. citizen since 2016, she was previously married to director Ian Kessner and continues to be a prominent figure in both the American and Israeli entertainment industries.

The player wakes up from a consciousness repair module, broken by an intruder. She takes a sample of the player's blood, morphing into their form. The player is later saved by Adjutant Nightingale, who reveals herself as the player's secretary, and the player is the Chief of the MBCC, where they "shackle" dangerous Sinners and keeps them from damaging DisCity. The intruder's invasion sets all the Sinners free, except two - Hella, and Hecate. They both are shackled by the Chief after Hecate teaches them to control their powers. They then take out waves of prisoners and mutant beasts until they reach the intruder. The application of the shackles reveals the intruder's true form, and she promises to wait at the end of their journey with all the answers they seek, and leaves.
