"Paradox Runners" launches Shay Mitchell as the charismatic leader of a rogue team of time-hopping thieves. Set in a slick, near-future world where time travel is the ultimate contraband, the franchise blends adrenaline-fueled heists, mind-bending sci-fi, and sharp, character-driven drama. The series is visually kinetic, globe-trotting, and full of twisty stakes—think Ocean’s Eleven meets Inception with a dash of The Adjustment Bureau. Each film centers on a heist with world-altering stakes—a lost artifact, a timeline in peril, or a betrayal within the team. Character arcs are rich with backstory and personal stakes: Lana and Mireille’s rivalry, Darius’s family in jeopardy, Romy’s coming of age, and Leo’s search for redemption. Themes include fate vs. free will, trust, and the price of rewriting history.
