A student at Naranja-Uva Academy and a recurring ally of the Bijoux. Ortega is one of Penny's old school buddies and formerly a head of Team Star, but now, he's trying to clean up his act and go back to a normal school life. Ortega is a rich kid with a short temper, which frequently made him a target for bullies and led to him joining Team Star—but that just achieved the opposite effect of what he wanted, as now the student body avoids him for his past ties. So, upon learning that a cursed Pokemon is causing trouble at school, he puts his engineering skills to the test to make the perfect machine to catch it! However, his short temper and eagerness to prove himself may get the better of him along the way...
