Jack Henry Quaid (born April 24, 1992) is an American actor. The son of actors Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid, he made his acting debut with a minor role in the dystopian film The Hunger Games (2012). Quaid had his breakout role as vigilante Hughie Campbell in the Amazon Prime Video superhero series The Boys (2019–present). Among other roles, Quaid was part of the main cast of HBO's drama series Vinyl (2016) and has had numerous voice acting roles such as Brad Boimler in Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020–present). In film, he has appeared in The Hunger Games (2012), Logan Lucky (2017), and as Richie Kirsch in the slasher film Scream (2022).

Owlman is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics Supervillain of the same name. Written by Steven Spielberg and co-produced by RatPac-Dune Entertainment, it is intended to be the first film in a DC Comics shared Villains Universe. Directed by Sam Raimi, the film stars Gustaf Skarsgård in the title role, alongside Gemma Arterton, Lucas Till, Zachary Quinto, Chris Hemsworth, and Bruce Willis. The film was released theatrically on April 21st 2021, a few months before the Swamp Thing (set in the DC Extended Universe). Owlman was a box-office bomb, grossing $241 against a budget of $156 million, and lost over $80 million, unlike The Swamp Thing, which was a financial box-office success and performed far above expectations. The film was widely praised for Skarsgård's performance, direction, action sequences, dark tone, musical score, story, cinematography, themes, and emotional depth, with many considering it one of greatest superhero films ever made. A sequel is in development.
