In a near-future Earth where humanity faces threats from Omnics, robotic creations that turn against them. An international task force, Overwatch, is formed to combat these threats, eventually expanding to global peacekeeping. After Overwatch is disbanded due to corruption, former agents must band together to protect the world from new crises, including a looming second Omnic Crisis and a terrorist organization called Talon.
