Woodrow Tracy "Woody" Harrelson (born July 23, 1961) is an American actor. He first became known for his role as bartender Woody Boyd on the NBC sitcom Cheers (1985–1993), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series from five nominations. Harrelson received three Academy Award nominations: Best Actor for The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996), Best Supporting Actor for The Messenger (2009) and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Other notable films include White Men Can't Jump(1992), Natural Born Killers (1994), The Thin Red Line (1998), No Country for Old Men (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Zombieland (2009), Seven Psychopaths (2012), Now You See Me (2013), The Edge of Seventeen (2016), War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), and Triangle of Sadness (2022). He also played Haymitch Abernathy in The Hunger Games film series (2012–2015). Harrelson received further Primetime Emmy Award nominations for his portrayal of Steve Schmidt in the HBO film Game Change (2012) and a detective in the HBO crime anthology series True Detective (2014). He also portrayed E. Howard Hunt in the HBO political limited series White House Plumbers (2023).

Mike had a hard life. sometimes has depression. His dad Marvin was jerk, cheated on his wife, mean to everyone, after some very heated moments when Mike got into a fight with his father while defending his mom June, they broke up. After 2 years since then, the family is hardly in contact with each other. Mike lives with his younger sister Meredith, they are in contact with their mother only occasionally and not with dad. An eco-obsessed vegetarian, Meredith now has appetite for meat and begs Mike to help her get rid of it or accept it. She is at college so Mike has to support her. She is not the only who needs help, his childhood love Isabel shows up with tears and begs to sleep there for few days cause she is afraid, her policeman bf Bob is missing. She sleeps in bed, he is on couch, feelings are back. The next one is Marvin. Mike doesn't want to talk to him. Marvin begs for a hearing, claiming he has changed. Mike interrogates him and learns that Marvin still loves his mom, regrets his actions, and wants to help win her back. Mike doesn't believe it, but when he sees his father cry on a bench later, he understands that he has changed. He reunited with his mom, she has a boyfriend Randy and there are lies about her being a whore. Mike therefore beats up three men in a bar and wrecks a woman's car. Mike tries to help his dad but tell him if he will hurt her he will kill him. Randy beats her up and is a thug who kidnaps Bob. Bob was corrupt and died in shootout and Randy too.
