Felix was Walt's best cartoon friend before Oswald came, and was the guy who taught Ozzie everything he ought to know about being a cartoon character. He was like an older brother. Felix was even there when Mintz took Oswald away from Walt. He tried to save him, but Mintz was cruel enough to have his guards abuse their own famous cartoon character in order to have Oswald. For decades, Felix tried to find ways to comfort Oswald in his imprisonment, and how to get him out. It seemed hopeless . . . until he got a call from a certain brave mouse.
