Ryuuichi was abandoned as a child and left to grow up at Hakuba Shrine. However, his life is forever changed when a vampire attack leaves the shrine in ruins and takes the lives of his family. Ryuuichi narrowly escapes, determined to avenge his fallen loved ones. After being found by Isamu Kurogane, the captain of the Imperial Demon Army, Ryuuichi vows to become strong enough to destroy every vampire that stands in his way. Unaware that he is a vampire-human hybrid, his powers, which emerge during intense rage, threaten his friends and allies. Over time, Ryuuichi learns the importance of teamwork and grapples with balancing his thirst for vengeance with protecting those he cares about.
