Once a noble samurai, Kageyuki became a vampire hybrid after being bitten in a civil war. His humanity was shattered when the shogunate’s army killed his daughter, leading him to renounce human life. Now a vampire executioner, he harbors deep resentment for humanity, believing everyone is complicit in his daughter’s death. Still, he clings to his samurai code of honor. Stoic and ruthless, Kageyuki’s bitterness fuels his hatred, yet he remains bound to a code of personal integrity, even as he struggles with the humanity he can’t erase.
