Chromia is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family. "At least our animated character models didn't have high heels." Chromia is a seasoned, tough-as-nails infiltrator who's adept at unflinching sabotage. Bluntly honest and a little married to her job, she doesn't make an ideal friend, but she can nevertheless be fiercely protective, a quality which also makes her an exceptional bodyguard. Her rough edges often find her a kinship with other like-minded security officers such as Ironhide. More diplomatic peers such as Windblade have attempted to socialize her, but beware—she might "arrange" an exit out of an overwhelming interpersonal situation with a quietly-placed detonator.

MegaTron plans to kill Optimus before he stops him from taking over CyberTron. He sends his Minions to kill him. They kidnap him from Mt. CyberTron & force him to drink Ener-mortal. He dosen't drink the last drop & retains his Prime-like Strength. Optimus is raised by 2 Bots, but he's ostracized from everyone else cause of his strength. Optimus feels like he belongs somewhere else. He goes to the Temple of Alpha Trion & is told he's his son, & a Prime. He leaves w/ his old pet Sky Lynx to find WindCharger to train him. WindCharger trains him. The 3 of them save a Femme named Elita. It turns out she is working with MegaTron, & learns he's still alive. Optimus heads to CyberTron City & wants to be their new hero. Elita tells him that she needs help, it turns out he has to fight a Combiner. He kills it & is rewarded a Hero. MegaTron tries to find out his weakness. Meanwhile, Optimus learns his fame won't make him a Prime. Optimus & Elita go on a date & grow more closer to each other. Elita realizes she loves him, & he loves her. He is forced to give up his strength. He unleashes the Titans. They take over Mt. CyberTron, imprison Alpha Trion. Elita gets hurt, Optimus gets his strength back. He frees the Primes & kills the Titans But Elita dies, & he goes to get her soul back. He makes a deal that she can go for him. He regains his prime-hood. Defeats MegaTron & returns her soul. Optimus is summoned to Mt. CyberTron & is told he can come home.
