Rob originated the starring role of Dewey Finn on the First National Tour of the Broadway Production of "School of Rock: The Musical" (4 Tony Award Nominations) to rave reviews across the country. He opened the tour in nearly 40 cities, including the critically acclaimed productions in Los Angeles and Chicago. Rob also played Elder Cunningham in the Broadway, Chicago, and National Touring productions of "The Book of Mormon" (9 Tony Awards). His first break came when he originated the role Roger in American Theater Company's hit production of the 40th Anniversary Revival of "The Original Grease" (Jeff Award - Best Musical 2011). Rob studied at Illinois State University for 2 years before transferring to Columbia College Chicago, where he received his B.A. in Acting. He simultaneously studied at The Second City, where he completed the Comedy Studies program and performed in several Sketch/Improv shows. In 2006, Rob was was nominated for a Kennedy Center Irene Ryan Award through the American College Theatre Festival committee. Rob has worked with industry legends Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jim Jacobs, Matt Stone and Trey Parker. He is also an accomplished musician, songwriter, and photographer.
