Charles "Chuck" Russell (born May 9, 1958) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for his work in the 1980s and '90s, including "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors" (1987) and "The Mask" (1994).
In a prehistoric world where dinosaurs and beasts roam, a caveman is banished from his barbaric rock tribe to wander into the wild. He gets rescued by a beautiful cavewoman of the gentle shell tribe and learns the way of her people. Together the pair set out to bring the rival tribes together for survival.
