John Matthew Atkinson (born December 27, 1987) is an American actor and musician. Atkinson was born in Marietta, Georgia. Atkinson's family moved around several times, living in Alabama and Mississippi before settling in Kennesaw, Georgia. After high school, he moved to Atlanta taking college courses, while simultaneously pursuing acting, eventually moving to Los Angeles. He is of Native American and Irish descent. Atkinson made his television debut on The WB/CW drama series One Tree Hill. Atkinson appeared in the Academy Award winning film The Blind Side. Atkinson has also appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Drop Dead Diva. Atkinson is best known as Nick Fadden in the ABC Family series, Jane by Design and Austin Travers on The Young and the Restless. Most recently Atkinson has portrayed Finn in the ABC series The Middle and Jason on the ABC Family series Young & Hungry. The story begins with a character named Paolo Albertini, an orphan who, at such a young age, immigrated with his aunt, uncle and his cousin Thomas to New York in search of a better life. Arriving in New York, the family lives in the poorest conditions in little Italy. Aunt was a housewife and uncle worked in the port and earned pennies on which it was almost impossible to live. And in this area he found a friend who was also a native of Sicily and his age named Antonio. Together they were pickpockets and stole fruits and vegetables in the markets as well as robbing some passers-by, pulling out wallets in the hope of finding $ 10. As time went on, they grew up and decided to steal wagons . One night they wanted to rob a jewelry store, but during the theft a policeman noticed and his friend ran away with good and Paolo himself fell into the hands of the police and almost went to jail for theft, but since he didn’t want to go to jail, he joined the army in the 504th parachute regiment for landing in Sicily. In one of the battles they took the town of Alcamo. In 1945 in February, he was wounded in battle in the Forest of Arden, because of which he was sent home for a month. When he returned to little Italy, he returned as a completely different person and his fate would be full of stories
