Tommy Lee Jones (born September 15, 1946) is an American actor and film director. He has received four Academy Award nominations, winning Best Supporting Actor for his performance as U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard in the 1993 thriller film The Fugitive. His other notable starring roles include Texas Ranger Woodrow F. Call in the television miniseries Lonesome Dove, Agent K in the Men in Black film series, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell in No Country for Old Men, Hank Deerfield in In the Valley of Elah, the villain Two-Face in Batman Forever, Mike Roark in the disaster film Volcano, terrorist William "Bill" Strannix in Under Siege, Texas Ranger Roland Sharp in Man of the House, rancher Pete Perkins in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (which he also directed), Colonel Chester Phillips in Captain America: The First Avenger, CIA Director Robert Dewey in Jason Bourne, and Warden Dwight McClusky in Natural Born Killers. In the midst of a devastating war in Gaza, a desperate man embarks on a perilous journey to rescue his kidnapped love from the clutches of terrorist groups. Film begins with Mark witnessing a horrifying news report on TV about a massive attack in Gaza. The attack claims thousands of innocent lives and kidnaps 200 people, including Sarah, he always loved her but never told her and now she could be dead. He arrives to Gaza, risks his life for her and discovers that the local authorities are overwhelmed, no choice and has to take matters into own hands. Forms alliance with enigmatic Chinese journalist, Bao Lee, who seeks the truth amidst the chaos. He witnesses the harsh realities of life in Gaza and the toll the war has taken on its people and what an awful things the terrorists are doing to the civils. The movie reaches its climax as Mark and his newfound allies stage a daring rescue mission against all odds.The operation pits them against well-armed terrorists. In a heart-pounding showdown, Mark faces the leader of the terrorist group, a formidable and ruthless figure, in a final confrontation to save Sarah.
