The main antagonist of the first season. Mufasa's ruthless brother and Simba's uncle, who conspired to take the throne from Mufasa, murdering his own brother and exiling Simba to become the new leader of the pack, creating a kingdom of darkness and terror in the savannah. Due to his actions, development and prominence, he could be considered the main villain of the series in general.
