The story follows Mr. Douglas, a cranky restaurant owner, who refuses to believe that a rip current is hitting the city and puts his customers and workers in danger. When a sunken ship attaches itself to the restaurant and sends it hurdling into the rip current, Nathan manages to safely steer the office and save everyone. The workers make Nathan the new captain, causing Mr. Douglas to become jealous and offended. However, after being thrown out of the restaurant and landing in a forest, a monster attacks them. Nathan and the workers plead with Mr. Douglas to fight the monster, but he selfishly refuses until Nathan threatens to destroy his prized dime. Mr. Douglas reluctantly agrees and defeats the monster, earning the respect of Nathan and the workers. They then work together to pull the restaurant back to Bikini Bottom while Nathan and Mr. Douglas sit on the roof.
