A young man (Bear) has been in love with his coworker (Nicki) for some time, but can't seem muster up the courage to tell her how he feels. When Nicki ponders leaving town to complete her education, Bear with the help of a mutual friend (Ian) attempts to express himself one last time. Before meeting up with Nicki, Bear purchases a novelty "One Wish Willow" that supposedly if broken, will grant your wish. Once again Bear can't seem to muster up the courage to tell Nicki the way that he feels about her and he is too embarrassed to gift her the One Wish Willow. Bear impulsively breaks the willow, and wishes for Nicki to become "Obsessed" with him. Bear's greatest wish comes true, and the two begin a relationship, but not everything is as simple as it seems. Nicki may not be as happy as she appears, dark truths hidden within the friend group threaten to reveal themselves, and The Effects of the One Wish Willow appear to be irreversible.
