Natsume is initially shown to be a kind hearted individual who dedicated himself to become No. 1 in music band industry. He's amicable and friendly to most people including Hoeru. As a Universe Warrior, Natsume took his duty seriously as he tried his best to save people from the Buraidan army. However, his desire to become Number 1 eventually resulting Natsume in clashing with Hoeru, who already accepted the Contract Tega Sword had made, and transformed into Gozyu Wolf to become Number 1 as well, deeming Hoeru unfit to wield the ring since he had no wish.
