What if the Academy gives rewards for Best Animated Films before 2001, before Shrek. What if an animated film got best animated picture before the 2000s.
Keep in mind, there have been very few animated films by major film studios even before the 80s and 90s. Just a little experiment of what if our favorite animated films from back in the day got a reward for best picture. I know there's a couple good ones that could contend for this.
