A military brat raised on discipline and fight training who chose a civilian life over service. When a bombing kills his closest friends—his chosen family—and the authorities stall, Cole realizes justice isn’t coming. Drawing on the combat skills he was taught but never meant to use, he hunts down everyone responsible, one by one. As the body count rises, Cole confronts the truth that the people behind the attack profit from violence without ever facing it. By the end, Cole becomes a shadowy vigilante—neither hero nor soldier—accepting the cost of becoming what his loss demanded.
